Responsibility
- Plan and deliver standards aligned instruction for K-5 students with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative measures and provide timely feedback.
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom culture with clear routines and behavior expectations.
- Collaborate with grade level teams, specialists, and families to support student growth.
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance inquiry and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records, communicate progress with parents, and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or valid teaching credential for elementary grades in California.
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in primary grades preferred.
- Strong classroom management and positive behavior support skills.
- Evidence of effective differentiation and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with families and colleagues.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data driven instruction.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
