Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7) in line with the UK National Curriculum.
- Assess and track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to data-driven planning.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment with clear routines and positive behavior support.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and support students with additional needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular projects and school events.
- Engage with families to communicate progress and support learning at home.
- Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to the well-being and welfare of all students.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or PGCE/QTS (UK) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 with a track record of improving pupil outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for KS1.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, child welfare, and inclusive education.
- Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and use data to inform planning.
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and basic IT skills.
- Team player with a growth mindset and willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives.
