Responsibility
- Lead engaging Literacy and Numeracy lessons aligned to the NSW Curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Plan, assess, and report on student progress with timely feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teaching teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in professional development.
- Maintain accurate student records and lead parent-teacher communications.
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance student outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to child safety standards and school policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status or eligible to obtain within NSW.
- Experience teaching primary-aged students (ideally K-6).
- Strong knowledge of the NSW Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with families, students, and staff.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and monitor progress through data-driven planning.
