Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Year 1-3 aligned to curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative methods and provide timely feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and resilience.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and families to support student growth.
- Integrate technology and digital literacy into daily learning; use educational software and devices.
- Manage classroom routines, behavior, and welfare with positive behavior support.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, professional development, and curriculum planning.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification with current registration/eligibility in Australia.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary setting (preferred).
- Proven ability to plan, differentiate, assess and track student progress.
- Strong knowledge of early literacy and numeracy strategies and evidence-based teaching practices.
- Exceptional classroom management and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-informed instruction.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and participating in school events.
