Responsibility
- Coordinate pre-production activities, technical rehearsals, and dress rehearsals for a rotating season of performances.
- Develop and maintain production calendars, timelines, and task lists to ensure on-time show launches.
- Manage vendor relationships, equipment rentals, and stage logistics within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and stage management to plan technical needs for each production.
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance across venues and crews.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and post-show reconciliations.
- Provide on-site supervision during load-in/load-out and performances, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Arts Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2-4 years of production or stage management experience in theatre, dance, or live performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with production software, scheduling tools, and MS Office; familiarity with CMS or venue management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel to multiple venues as needed.
- Capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
