Based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, you will support production operations across multiple product groups and corporate functions while helping to drive innovation and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate daily line activities, oversee safety and quality standards, and ensure on time delivery to customers. You will work closely with Production Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams to optimize resources, manage line changes, and solve production problems in real time.

Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily production operations on assigned lines, ensuring safety, quality, and on time delivery.
- Plan and optimize manpower, equipment, and shift resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and data driven problem solving to reduce waste and improve yield.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, monitor metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coach and develop frontline teams including operators and junior supervisors, conducting regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Collaborate with Production Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve issues, manage line changes, and optimize material flow.
- Maintain a safe working environment, lead health and safety initiatives, and ensure incident reporting and root cause investigations are completed.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field, or a Diploma with extensive relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years of production supervision experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean initiatives, 5S, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge of ERP and MES systems, data analytics, and KPI driven decision making.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the flexibility to support shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Experience with safety and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IPC related standards; commitment to a safe workplace.
