Our global client is seeking a skilled professional interpreter to join their dynamic language services team. The role blends on-site and remote interpretation across conferences, legal, medical, and corporate settings. You will provide accurate, culturally sensitive interpretation in real time, enabling clear communication for multilingual participants.

Responsibility
- Provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, negotiations, and client briefings in English and multiple target languages, ensuring accuracy and cultural nuance.
- Perform simultaneous interpretation for conferences, webinars, and large events, managing booth equipment and remote interpretation platforms as needed.
- Develop and maintain industry-specific glossaries and terminology databases (legal, medical, corporate) to ensure consistency.
- Coordinate with event organizers, clients, and fellow interpreters to plan interpretation flow and logistics.
- Prepare before assignments by researching topics, terminology, and organization-specific acronyms; update glossaries post-event.
- Uphold strict confidentiality, impartiality, and professional ethics in all assignments.
- Provide post-event debriefs, collect feedback, and refine terminology resources for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- 3+ years of professional interpretation experience across multiple settings (legal, medical, corporate, or conference).
- Proficiency in at least two languages, with native-level English and strong proficiency in at least one additional language; willingness to work in English-centric and bilingual environments.
- Demonstrated ability in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation; familiarity with interpretation equipment and remote platforms (Zoom, Interprefy, etc.).
- Excellent memory, note-taking, and rapid term retrieval; strong research skills for specialized terminology.
- Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Translation, Linguistics, or related field; professional certification preferred (CCHI, AIIC, NAD, or equivalent).
- Flexible schedule with on-site and remote opportunities; some travel may be required.
- Outstanding communication, professionalism, and client-facing skills.
