Responsibility
- Manage and execute land surveying projects from initial proposal to final deliverables.
- Conduct field surveys utilizing the latest GPS, total stations, and related technologies.
- Prepare and review detailed survey plats, legal descriptions, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with state and local surveying laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver precise results on schedule.
- Supervise and mentor surveying field crews and junior staff.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all survey data and documentation.
- Assist in the integration of advanced surveying software and hardware solutions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Colorado, or eligible for reciprocity.
- 5+ years of relevant land or construction surveying experience.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field sites as needed.
