As a Referee, you will uphold the Laws of the Game, ensure player safety, and foster fair play across youth, amateur, and semi-professional fixtures. You’ll work with organizers to ensure smooth match flow and timely reporting.
Responsibility
- Enforce the Laws of the Game and ensure fair play on match day.
- Maintain player safety and monitor match safety protocols.
- Make timely, clear, and well-communicated decisions to players, coaches, and officials.
- Coordinate with assistant referees and match delegates to ensure proper procedures and signaling.
- Complete accurate match reports, incident logs, and regulatory paperwork promptly.
- Stay physically fit to handle continuous running and positioning throughout fixtures.
- Attend pre-match briefings and post-match reviews to continually improve officiating quality.
Qualification
- Valid refereeing certification or equivalent practical refereeing experience at youth, amateur, or semi-professional levels.
- Proven track record officiating matches with consistent fair play and integrity.
- Deep knowledge of the Laws of the Game and familiarity with the latest updates.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and de-escalation skills under pressure.
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to run and position effectively for 90+ minutes.
- Excellent professional conduct and ability to work with event organizers and fellow officials.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends; reliable and punctual.
