We are seeking dedicated referees who are available for weekend and midweek fixtures, with a commitment to ongoing development and on-field professionalism.
As a Referee, you will manage match flow, apply laws consistently, communicate decisions clearly to players, coaches, and spectators, and collaborate with fellow officials to deliver safe, enjoyable games.
Responsibility
- Officiate assigned matches in accordance with governing body rules and guidelines.
- Position yourself to make accurate, timely decisions and maintain game control.
- Communicate decisions politely and clearly to players, coaches, and spectators.
- Enforce player safety and sport-specific conduct on and off the field.
- Maintain accurate match records and post-match reporting as required by the league.
- Collaborate with assistant referees and match officials to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Attend ongoing training sessions and complete required certification updates.
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all officiating activities.
Qualification
- Current on-field registration with a recognized governing body (e.g., FA/UEFA or sport-specific equivalent).
- Minimum of 1–2 years officiating experience at local or youth levels.
- Strong knowledge of the rules and ability to apply them impartially under pressure.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent fitness level with ability to keep up with play and maintain focus during full match duration.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to assigned venues across London.
- Positive, professional demeanor and commitment to ongoing development.
- First aid awareness and safety mindset are a plus.
