Responsibility

  • Design and deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate theology courses, including systematic theology, biblical studies, and historical theology.

  • Advise and mentor students, supervise theses and dissertations, and supervise senior projects.
  • Develop and revise curricula, assessment methods, and innovative teaching approaches leveraging digital learning tools.
  • Contribute to department governance, participate in committees, and engage in accreditation processes.
  • Represent the Institute at scholarly conferences, public lectures, and interfaith dialogues.
  • Engage with local congregations and community partners to foster public theology and community service.

Qualification

  • PhD in Theology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong record of scholarly publications and ongoing research trajectory in theology.
  • Proven teaching experience at the university level, with excellence in course design and delivery.
  • Ability to teach across multiple theology subfields and demonstrate inclusive pedagogy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
  • Experience with grant writing or securing external funding is preferred.
