As a Program Manager, you will oversee schedule, budget, and performance across multiple stakeholders including military customers, prime contractors, and internal teams. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end defense program management from concept through deployment and sustainment.
- Develop and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, logistics, finance, and cybersecurity to deliver on program milestones.
- Maintain strong customer and contractor relationships, delivering timely status updates and executive briefings.
- Ensure compliance with military standards, security requirements, procurement regulations, and EVM practices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; implement corrective actions and change control processes.
- Monitor performance, generate dashboards, and present progress to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 8+ years of program management experience in defense, government contracting, or military projects.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and integrated project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
- Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain (facilitated by employer if needed).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex budgets.
- Knowledge of military acquisition processes, security standards (CMMC/DoD), and risk management.
