We are seeking a Project Civil Engineer who can lead design, manage delivery, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will work on multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction, collaborating with clients, contractors, and agencies to deliver safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibility

  • Lead the design, analysis, and detailing of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and site development.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and review agencies to manage approvals and permitting.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk with strong attention to QA/QC.
  • Perform hydrology/hydraulic modeling, drainage design, and site grading analysis.
  • Oversee field activities, inspections, and data collection; ensure safety compliance on site.
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate a multidisciplinary design team using BIM and other design tools.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred; PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • 5+ years of civil infrastructure design experience (roads, drainage, water/sewer, site development).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and BIM workflows (Revit, BIM 360) and structural analysis tools (SAP2000/STAAD.Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of AASHTO, NFPA, IBC, and local codes; experience with permitting processes.
  • Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS) and stormwater management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-management skills; ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and Microsoft Office suite.
