Good Neighbors is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to lead community projects in Calamba City, Laguna. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate cross functional teams, manage timelines, and drive measurable impact for local communities. You will translate strategic plans into actionable tasks, align resources, and monitor progress to ensure project success from start to finish.
As a key member of the program team, you will collaborate with program managers, field staff, and partner organizations to ensure deliverables meet donor requirements and community expectations. You will establish clear milestones, track progress with simple dashboards, and communicate status to stakeholders in a timely, transparent manner.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and a strong communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment. You should have a passion for community development, a customer service orientation, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accountability and quality. This role is based in the Philippines and may involve occasional travel to project sites to support field activities.
In this role you will oversee budget adherence, procurement requests, and timely reporting to donors and internal leadership. You will also play a key role in risk assessment, issue resolution, and change management, ensuring project activities align with organizational standards and ethical guidelines.

Responsibility
- Coordinate project plans, milestones, and timelines across internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor daily progress, track deliverables, adjust schedules, and escalate risks to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and donor updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between program staff, operations, finance, and field teams.
- Manage communications with community groups, government agencies, and partner organizations to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Assist with budget tracking, resource planning, and procurement requests in line with organizational policies.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, grant agreements, and impact measurement indicators.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in project management, development studies, engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in nonprofit/NGO or community development.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Filipino language is a plus.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (MS Office or Google Workspace) and familiarity with project management software (Asana, Trello, or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
