Honeywell is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of Building Management System (BMS) and Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects in Singapore. Based in our Singapore office, you will drive program schedules, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting safety and quality standards. This senior leadership role requires a hands-on, results-driven professional who can align client expectations with technical execution across multiple stakeholders, from consultants to subcontractors. You will own governance frameworks, oversee project controls, and champion a culture of safety, quality, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
In this role you will own project governance, risk management, and change control for complex automation initiatives, coordinating with engineering, procurement, commissioning, IT, and field teams to deliver high-performance building systems that optimize energy use, occupant comfort, and operational reliability. You will engage with clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications, lead value engineering efforts, and ensure compliance with Honeywell standards and local regulations. You will also mentor project teams, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and report on progress to executive leadership.

Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of BMS/IBMS projects, from contract award through final handover and warranty closeout.
- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Direct cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, commissioning, and site operations to achieve project milestones.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, procurement activities, and contract performance.
- Oversee system integration with electrical, mechanical, IT, and cybersecurity components; lead commissioning, performance testing, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; drive continuous improvement and lessons learned.
- Provide executive-level reporting, stakeholder management, and client communication to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of program/project management experience in building automation, BMS/IBMS, or related fields.
- Proven track record delivering complex, high-value projects in Singapore or APAC with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of BMS/IBMS platforms, IT networks, cybersecurity, and integration with HVAC, lighting, and access control systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; client-facing experience required.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification; additional certifications in commissioning or construction management are a plus.
- In-depth understanding of local codes, safety regulations, and commissioning standards; ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
