As a Project Engineer, you will drive technical execution, manage schedules, allocate resources, and monitor risk and quality control across projects. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project specs, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance. You will play a pivotal role in value engineering, procurement support, and change management, ensuring the project scope remains clear and controlled while maintaining HSE excellence.

Responsibility

  • Coordinate technical design reviews, drawings, and specifications with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure constructability and compliance.
  • Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans to guarantee on-time delivery.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor coordination, and change orders while maintaining budget integrity.
  • Oversee QA/QC activities, site inspections, and safety compliance to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Track project performance metrics, prepare status reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement corrective actions to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and support successful project handover.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management; professional registration is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant project engineering experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6), and CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, change orders, and procurement activities with attention to quality and safety.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and contract documents; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work in Pengerang and adapt to a fast-paced environment with field exposure.
