About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead project engineering activities from planning through commissioning, ensuring alignment with scope and budget
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procurement requirements to support construction activities
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure design integrity, timely delivery, and cost control
- Monitor on site construction activities, perform site inspections, QA QC checks, and ensure compliance with drawings and standards
- Manage change orders, risk assessments, and cost control measures to minimize budget exposure
- Uphold health safety and environmental standards on site and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Responsibility

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in construction or related sectors
- Strong proficiency in project management, scheduling using MS Project and Primavera P6, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD
- Solid knowledge of local codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable to construction projects in Malaysia
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procurement documents
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget
