You will play a vital role in the successful execution of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) projects, working closely with our experienced professionals, contractors, and clients. As a Project Engineer, you will oversee every aspect of project delivery, from planning and coordination to quality assurance and safety compliance. Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of ACMV projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems on site.
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare project documentation, including method statements, technical submittals, and progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during project implementation.
- Manage procurement of materials and ensure proper resource allocation.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in ACMV or M&E project engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, and related mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations in Singapore.
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; experience with project management tools is a plus.
