Responsibility
- Plan and coordinate engineering activities for additions and alterations projects from planning to handover
- Review and approve design drawings for constructability, safety and regulatory compliance
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones and resource plans
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection and vendor performance
- Supervise on site installation, testing, commissioning and QA QC activities
- Manage project documentation, change control and client communications
- Monitor budgets, cost control, risk management and safety compliance
- Provide regular progress reports and facilitate cross functional coordination
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical or related) with professional registration preferred
- 3 to 8 years of relevant project engineering experience in construction or building services
- Strong understanding of additions and alterations projects, site safety, quality control
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD or Revit), project management software and MS Office
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to read drawings and specifications, interpret codes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement and change control
- Self motivated, proactive, able to lead multi disciplinary teams and work in Singapore
