Join our leading renewable energy team at GreenNova, a fast-growing developer of clean energy projects nationwide. We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead solar and wind energy initiatives from conception to commissioning. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive project milestones in a dynamic, mission-driven environment that accelerates the transition to sustainable power.
What you will do in this role is to plan, execute, and deliver solar and wind projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards for safety and quality. You will collaborate with engineers, EPC contractors, utilities, and internal stakeholders to optimize performance and maximize value for communities and investors.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end delivery of solar, wind, and energy storage projects from scoping through commissioning
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams
- Manage vendor contracts, procurement activities, and change control
- Ensure permitting, interconnection studies, and grid readiness
- Monitor safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; drive continuous improvement
- Provide transparent reporting to stakeholders and executive team
- Mentor junior staff and build high-performing project teams
Qualification
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field; master's preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy (solar or wind)
- Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of grid interconnection, power systems, and energy storage concepts
- Proven budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with permitting, environmental and regulatory processes
- Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Primavera) and data analysis
