Join a fast growing renewable energy developer delivering solar, wind, and storage projects across North America. We are seeking a results oriented Renewable Energy Project Manager who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about sustainability.
In this role you will lead end to end project development from feasibility through commissioning, coordinating cross functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring on time, on budget delivery while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.
As a key member of the project leadership, you will collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, permitting authorities, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes and create value for communities and investors.
Responsibility
- Lead the end to end development of solar and wind projects from feasibility to commissioning
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop schedules and budgets
- Oversee permitting, interconnection studies, environmental reviews, and regulatory compliance
- Engage stakeholders, lenders, utilities, and local authorities; prepare reports and presentations
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators, and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Champion health and safety across all phases of the project lifecycle
- Manage procurement activities and vendor relationships to optimize cost and schedule
- Prepare project closeout documents and provide post commissioning support as needed
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in engineering, energy systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in renewable energy project development or construction management
- Strong knowledge of permitting, interconnection, and utility approval processes
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) and experience with PM methodologies
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and decision making; skilled with Excel and data visualization
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed (up to 25%)
