MCi Career Services is partnering with a leading construction firm in Singapore to hire a proactive Project Operations Coordinator. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project activities across offices and on-site locations. You will support planning, scheduling, procurement, and day-to-day administration to keep projects progressing smoothly from kick-off to handover. Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily operations across construction sites and offices.
  • Track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables; maintain and update project plans and dashboards.
  • Manage document control, including submittals, RFIs, permits, contracts, and change orders.
  • Coordinate procurement and logistics for materials and equipment; liaise with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support site coordination with safety, quality assurance, and compliance activities; help close punch lists and QA/QC checks.
  • Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and regular communications for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between clients, contractors, site staff, and management to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
  • Assist with budget tracking and cost control activities as needed to support project financials.

Qualification

  • 1-3 years of construction industry experience in a coordination or administration role.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and QA/QC processes on construction sites.
  • Local work authorization for Singapore.
