Join Wismilak as a Promoter (Merchandiser Retail) and become a key ambassador for our brand in Garut, West Java. In this frontline role, you will visit a mix of retail outlets and traditional kelontong shops to drive product visibility, promote featured SKUs, and help the company achieve its sales targets. This position is ideal for a proactive, peopleāfocused professional who thrives on fieldwork, route planning, and direct interaction with store teams and customers.
Your daily responsibilities include executing in-store promotions, maintaining accurate shelf layouts, and ensuring price and promotional signage are upātoādate. You will partner with store owners and clerks to communicate product benefits, answer questions, and deliver a memorable shopping experience that supports brand loyalty. You will also monitor stock levels, report outāofāstock situations, and coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
As a Wismilak Merchandiser, you will be expected to adhere to company guidelines, comply with local regulations, and accurately record promotional results. The role offers opportunities for growth, handsāon merchandising experience, and a chance to contribute directly to the brand's footprint in Garut and surrounding areas. A reliable vehicle may be required for daily route coverage.
Responsibility
- Visit assigned outlets in Garut to implement promotional activities and ensure correct product placement
- Plan and execute in-store promotions at assigned outlets, ensuring brand standards and timing
- Manage shelf presentation, pricing accuracy, and promotional signage
- Build relationships with store owners and staff; communicate product benefits and promotions
- Monitor stock levels and report out-of-stock issues; coordinate replenishment with the warehouse
- Collect and submit data on promotions, including photos and KPI metrics; track results against targets
- Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and handle inquiries professionally
- Report weekly on store performance and route progress to the sales team
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail merchandising or field sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to multiple outlets; valid driving license preferred
- Self motivated, independent, and able to manage time effectively
- Basic numeracy and ability to interpret sales targets and inventory data
- Familiarity with consumer goods and promotions; quick to learn product knowledge
- Fluent in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus
