Responsibility

  • Develop and implement property management strategies, budgets, and operations for the assigned portfolio.
  • Oversee leasing activities and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
  • Manage maintenance programs and vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective service.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare variance reports, and optimize operating expenses and capital plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; enforce lease terms and enforcement processes.
  • Collaborate with owners and stakeholders to prepare regular property performance reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the adoption of property tech tools (CMMS/CAFM) and continuous process improvements.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of property management or facilities management experience with residential and/or commercial portfolios.
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control experience.
  • Excellent tenant relations, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid knowledge of local housing laws, fair housing regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple properties with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
