As a Property Manager, you will oversee leasing, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and vendor relationships while maintaining compliance with local regulations. This role offers a clear path to leadership within a growing portfolio.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily property operations across multiple residential properties, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and service excellence.
- Coordinate leasing activities, conduct property showings, review applications, and execute leases while maximizing occupancy and minimizing vacancies.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and pursue opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Oversee vendor management, service contracts, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.
- Lead, train, and supervise on-site teams and contractors; enforce high standards of service and compliance.
- Monitor property compliance, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Foster strong tenant relations, respond to inquiries, resolve escalations, and implement tenant retention initiatives.
- Prepare regular performance reports for owners and stakeholders, analyzing metrics and proposing improvement plans.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, property management, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in property management or leasing, with a track record of increasing occupancy and property performance.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and MS Office; strong data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of local housing regulations, safety standards, and fair housing laws.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as CPM, CAM, or related credentials are a plus.
