NorthPeak Property Management is seeking a proactive Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the Seattle area. You will lead tenant relations, leasing operations, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting to ensure peak performance and tenant satisfaction.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with owners, vendors, and on-site teams to optimize occupancy, collect rents, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on property management experience, strong communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day property operations across the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead leasing process including showings, tenant screening, lease execution, and move-in/move-out administration.
- Manage vendor relationships, bids, and service level agreements to optimize cost and service quality.
- Monitor budgets, review financial reports, and prepare monthly property performance dashboards for owners.
- Enforce tenancy standards, resolve escalated tenant inquiries, and maintain high occupancy and retention.
- Ensure timely rent collection, apply late fees as appropriate, and coordinate with accounting for accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with on-site teams and owners to plan and execute preventative maintenance and capital projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of property management experience, preferably in residential or mixed-use environments.
- Strong knowledge of state and local landlord-tenant laws (Washington) and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio) and MS Office suite.
- Financial acumen with budgeting, variances, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
