Key focus areas include guest services, leasing optimization, preventive maintenance, financial reporting, and risk management.
Responsibility
- Coordinate day-to-day property operations across the assigned portfolio, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and vendor management.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to protect asset value and minimize downtime.
- Lead tenant relations, address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and uphold service standards to maximize tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Administer leasing activities: showings, applications, approvals, move-ins, and move-outs; ensure compliant screening processes.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, generate financial reports, and monitor KPI metrics (occupancy, rent collections, and AR).
- Oversee safety, risk management, and compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with asset managers and vendors to optimize capital projects and operations to drive portfolio value.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, property management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of property management experience with a proven track record of improving occupancy and rental income.
- Strong leadership and vendor management capabilities; ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Solid financial acumen: budget development, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with property management software (MRI, Yardi, AppFolio or equivalent) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and risk/compliance management.
- Willingness to travel to properties as needed and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
