Job description
We are seeking a results-driven Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Austin, TX. This role blends operations, leasing, and financial stewardship to deliver exceptional tenant experiences and sustained asset performance.
As a key member of our property operations team, you will collaborate with property owners, maintenance professionals, and vendors to optimize occupancy, minimize downtime, and maximize ROI. You will be empowered to implement process improvements and leverage technology to scale operations.
Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day property operations for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Austin, TX
- Lead leasing activities including showings, applicant screening, renewals, and compliance with applicable laws
- Manage budgeting, expense tracking, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate maintenance, vendor management, and capital projects to protect asset value
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and timely inspections
- Elevate tenant relations through proactive communication and responsive service
- Implement process improvements and technology solutions to increase efficiency and occupancy
Qualification
- 3+ years of property management or real estate operations experience
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage)
- Financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Excellent communication and tenant relations skills
- Problem solving and decision making abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws in Texas
