Prestige Property Partners is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead a premier portfolio in New York City. This role blends strategic operations with hands-on tenant relations to deliver exceptional resident experiences and strong financial performance across a mix of residential and commercial properties.
You will oversee day to day property operations, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management for a diverse portfolio. Responsibility
- Oversee day to day operations of a mixed residential and commercial portfolio to maximize occupancy and asset performance.
- Manage leasing activities including showings, applications, screenings, renewals, and rent collection; minimize delinquency.
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans with oversight of cost controls and profitability.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital projects; supervise vendors; ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Lead procurement and contract negotiations with service providers; enforce SLAs and ensure value driven vendor performance.
- Develop and maintain strong tenant relations; resolve inquiries and complaints promptly with a focus on service quality.
- Monitor regulatory compliance including fair housing, safety, inspections, and recordkeeping; implement risk controls.
- Analyze portfolio metrics and prepare regular reporting on occupancy, rent roll, collections, and capital needs for leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business administration real estate or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years property management experience managing multi site portfolios
- Strong knowledge of property management software such as Yardi AppFolio MRI and MS Office
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with strong organizational skills
- Understanding of local landlord tenant laws and fair housing regulations
- Valid property manager license or willingness to obtain if required
