Global Health Partners is seeking a proactive Public Health Analyst to join our Washington, DC team. This role will translate complex health data into actionable insights that drive program design, evaluation, and policy recommendations to improve population health outcomes. Responsibility
- Lead data-driven design, implementation, and evaluation of community health programs.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local partners to align interventions with population needs.
- Perform epidemiologic analyses, data quality assessments, and interpretation of findings for diverse audiences.
- Develop policy briefs, reports, and communications for stakeholders and funders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure program success.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to monitor performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, privacy laws, and public health regulations.
- Provide capacity-building support and technical assistance to partner organizations.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of experience in public health, health analytics, or program evaluation.
- Strong proficiency in statistical tools (R, SAS, Python) and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with program planning, grant management, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of public health surveillance systems, ethics, and health equity considerations.
