As a Program Analyst, you will bridge data science and public health practice, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that inform program design and funding strategies.
Responsibility
- Design and execute program evaluations to assess outcomes, reach, and equity across communities.
- Analyze population health data, identify trends, and generate actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local health departments and community partners to implement evidence-based interventions.
- Develop dashboards and reports that communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Support grant proposals, budgets, and performance metrics for funded programs.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and ethical standards in all analyses.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff on data interpretation and evaluation methods.
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare executive-ready summaries for leadership.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in public health analytics, program evaluation, or epidemiology.
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or STATA) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with health departments, community organizations, or funding agencies.
- Knowledge of study design, sampling, and data quality assurance.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in public health research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in cross-functional teams.
