Responsibility
- Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs addressing chronic disease prevention, maternal and child health, or infectious disease surveillance.
- Develop program metrics, monitor performance, and prepare data-driven reports for stakeholders and funders.
- Manage grant proposals, budgets, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Partner with local health departments, hospitals, community organizations, and academic partners to co-create strategies.
- Build and supervise a multidisciplinary team; provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Lead policy analysis and contribute to evidence-based recommendations for city and state health agencies.
- Champion equity and community engagement; design culturally competent interventions and disseminate findings.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of public health program management or research experience, preferably in government or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar tools; experience with data visualization.
- Proven experience with grant writing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of health policy, social determinants of health, and equity-focused program design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel as needed (up to 20%).
