As a Public Health Analyst, you will translate complex health data into clear, actionable insights that inform policy and program decisions. You will collaborate with clinicians, epidemiologists, statisticians, and community partners to enhance population health initiatives and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
Responsibility
- Design and conduct data analyses to monitor key population health metrics and track program performance.
- Lead program evaluation and impact assessments for public health initiatives.
- Collaborate with local health departments, hospitals, and community-based organizations to implement data-informed strategies.
- Develop data visualization dashboards and monthly/quarterly reports for stakeholders and funders.
- Support policy analysis and the development of evidence-informed recommendations.
- Manage projects, timelines, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to grant writing and funding proposals with rigorous data support.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of public health data analysis or program evaluation experience.
- Proficiency in R, SAS, Stata, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of health disparities, epidemiology, and policy analysis; experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
- Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship required) or valid work authorization.
