Responsibility
- Design and implement surveillance and evaluation plans for public health programs, ensuring data quality and timely reporting.
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify trends, risk factors, and health disparities.
- Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for policymakers, program managers, and community partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop grant proposals, performance dashboards, and impact assessments.
- Lead data visualization efforts and present results to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Support program monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize outcomes.
- Prepare scholarly briefs, policy memos, and communications materials to share insights with the public.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and data governance policies.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field; PhD or DrPH a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in public health analytics, epidemiology, or program evaluation.
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or Python) and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of study design, surveillance systems, and health indicators.
- Experience translating complex data into policy-relevant recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated collaboration with government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
