In this role, you will collaborate with epidemiologists, policy experts, and community partners to translate complex data into actionable insights that advance population health outcomes.
Responsibilities include monitoring key health indicators, producing dashboards, supporting grant reporting, and contributing to policy briefs that inform local health strategies.

Responsibility
- Design and maintain public health surveillance dashboards to monitor respiratory disease, chronic conditions, and preventive service coverage.
- Analyze population health data using SAS, R, Python, or SQL; interpret results to inform program improvements.
- Support grant reporting, funding applications, and performance metrics for local health departments and partners.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists, health educators, and community organizations to develop evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and present policy briefs, technical reports, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Coordinate data quality assurance, data cleaning, and standardization across multiple datasets.
- Assist in program evaluation activities, including logic model development and outcome measurement.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of public health data analysis, surveillance, or program evaluation experience.
- Strong proficiency in SAS, R, Python, SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Experience with health surveillance systems and public health datasets; knowledge of ICD/ SNOMED is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Policy awareness and ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
