We are seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented analyst who can translate complex data into actionable strategies that improve population health and equity.
Responsibility
- Collect, clean, and analyze public health data from multiple sources to inform program planning and policy decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Conduct surveillance activities, monitor trends, and identify population health risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and evaluate interventions that improve health outcomes.
- Apply statistical methods (regression, time-series, GIS) to measure impact and program effectiveness.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and IRB guidelines.
- Communicate findings to diverse audiences, preparing policy briefs and executive summaries.
- Support grant reporting and performance metrics with rigorous data analysis.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of public health data analysis or epidemiology experience.
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, Stata) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with SQL and data integration from disparate sources.
- Strong knowledge of epidemiology methods, surveillance, and program evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate data into policy-relevant insights.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, data privacy, and ethical guidelines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
