Responsibility
- Design, clean, and analyze public health datasets to monitor population health indicators and program performance.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (Tableau/Power BI) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and program staff to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and privacy compliance (HIPAA) across datasets.
- Support program evaluation and grant reporting with rigorous statistical methods.
- Communicate complex results to non-technical audiences through clear narratives and visuals.
- Assist in study design for surveillance initiatives and contribute to manuscript and policy briefs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 2–4 years of professional data analysis experience in public health.
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of public health data standards, HIPAA, and data governance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings for diverse audiences; strong teamwork.
