Responsibility
- Design and manage data quality checks for public health datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze population health indicators and generate actionable insights to inform program strategy.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists, program staff, and policymakers to translate data into clear recommendations.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor program performance and outcomes.
- Support grant reporting and evaluation with robust statistical analyses.
- Communicate data-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling storytelling.
- Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance across all projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on public health data analysis or surveillance experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical software (R, SAS, or Stata).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell a data-driven story.
- Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI and data privacy best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
