Responsibility
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs focused on urban communities.
- Oversee cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships with stakeholders, governmental agencies, and community organizations.
- Monitor program metrics, ensuring goals and compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, grant applications, and program reporting.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify health disparities and areas of improvement.
- Develop educational materials and spearhead outreach initiatives.
- Provide mentoring and professional development for program staff.
- Represent the organization at public forums, conferences, and health fairs.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health program management.
- Proven success leading teams and managing complex, multi-site projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, budgetary, and organizational abilities.
- Expertise in program evaluation and data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with NYC health systems and regulatory landscape preferred.
- Passion for advancing urban community health.
