Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth policy research and impact assessments across multiple issue areas.
- Monitor, summarize, and present legislative developments affecting clients.
- Prepare policy briefs, memoranda, and short-form summaries for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policy recommendations and communication materials.
- Engage with stakeholders, coalition partners, and policymakers to gather insights and build support.
- Translate complex data into clear narratives, dashboards, and reports for decision makers.
- Support outreach campaigns and events to raise policy visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of policy analysis, government affairs, or advocacy experience.
- Strong research and analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with legislative tracking platforms and data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Washington DC policy landscape and strong ethical standards.
