As a QA/QC Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of quality plans, inspection routines, and record-keeping processes that drive project success and client satisfaction. This role demands strong attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on site in Cebu.
Responsibility
- Lead QA/QC activities for all civil works, including planning, inspection, and testing to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and material submittals; coordinate with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct site inspections, material testing, and field verifications; monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and manage quality documentation such as inspection test plans, non-conformance reports, and test reports; track corrective actions and closeout findings.
- Develop and implement inspection and test plans; maintain up-to-date QA/QC records for audits and project handovers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements on site; promote a culture of quality and safety.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders for timely handover, commissioning, and client acceptance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; PRC licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
- 2+ years of QA/QC experience in civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Experience with material testing, inspections, and non-conformance reporting; strong documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or design software; exposure to QA/QC software is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork; ability to work on-site in Cebu.
