Job description

Responsibility

  • Lead incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive QC test plans, sampling strategies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply statistical methods such as SPC to monitor process capability and identify trends requiring corrective action.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supplier quality to investigate defects and implement CAPA plans.
  • Prepare clear nonconformance reports, track corrective actions, and maintain documentation for audits.
  • Manage calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment and ensure traceability of metrology results.
  • Provide training to floor personnel on quality procedures, inspection methods, and GMP requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and ISO 9001 standards and support internal and external audits.

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 or more years of quality control experience in manufacturing or laboratory settings.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA processes.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and data analysis software (Excel, Minitab).
  • Familiarity with GMP and ISO 9001 compliance; ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • ASQ CQI or related quality certification is a plus.
