Join Visible Construction & Trading Sdn Bhd as a Quantity Surveyor in Kuala Lumpur and play a pivotal role in safeguarding project value from concept to completion. Responsibility
- Prepare and manage project cost plans, budgets, and forecasts to support timely decision-making.
- Produce Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost estimates for tenders and procurement.
- Monitor and report on project expenditures, variations, and cost-to-complete status.
- Assist with tender adjudication, contractor selection, and subcontractor negotiations.
- Administer contracts, quantify variations, and manage change orders with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to drive value engineering and cost optimisation.
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow analyses, and procurement strategies to protect project value.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying within the Malaysian construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, measurements, and contract administration.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with cost-management software; experience with tenders and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Understanding of local regulations, standards, and common contract forms; willingness to learn and adapt.
- Professional membership or qualifications related to quantity surveying is a plus.
