Hexacon Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team in the Central Region, Singapore. As a trusted partner in civil and commercial construction, you will oversee cost planning, procurement, contract administration and value management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and manage bills of quantities (BoQ), cost plans and estimated budgets for projects in Singapore.
  • Procure and evaluate subcontractor pricing, negotiate terms, and manage procurement activities.
  • Administer contracts, assess variation orders, and monitor changes to ensure alignment with project scope and budgets.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and post-tender analyses for stakeholders.
  • Assist with tender preparation, bid evaluation, and final account settlements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain thorough records and support audits during project close-out.

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field; professional accreditation a plus (e.g., MRICS, BCIQS).
  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within Singapore construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of current industry standards, contracts (FIDIC/PEC/Local forms), and BOQ preparation.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, variation assessment, and value engineering.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with cost-management software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team, with a proactive attitude.
