Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and cash flow for construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, value engineering, and cost control.
- Assist with procurement strategies, tender documentation, and contract administration.
- Monitor project financials, track variations and change orders, and prepare cost reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project teams to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining design intent.
- Manage subcontractor quotations, variations, final accounts, and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and company policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management on construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of measurement, BOQ preparation, cost control, and cost reporting.
- Experience with construction contracts and procurement processes; familiarity with local regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in QS software (CostX, WinQS) and MS Office; basic BIM/design coordination is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
