Join Private Advertiser as a Quantity Surveyor (ACMV) and play a key role in cost management for essential air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems across our construction projects. You will provide accurate, timely reporting to support project managers in informed decision-making, enabling better budgeting, procurement, and risk management. This role combines strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of ACMV engineering principles, ensuring value for money without compromising quality.
As a trusted advisor, you will partner with project teams, consultants, and suppliers to quantify works, evaluate variations, and monitor the financial health of projects from tender stage through to final account. You will maintain robust cost controls, prepare forecasts, and deliver transparent cost reporting to management. Your insights will help optimize design decisions, manage change, and control costs while meeting project timelines and safety standards.

Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain cost plans, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts for ACMV packages.
- Manage interim valuations, variations, and claims; assess and certify payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support tendering and procurement activities; evaluate bids and recommend subcontractors for ACMV works.
- Review drawings and specifications to quantify works and update estimates as design changes occur.
- Monitor cost control and implement value engineering opportunities to optimize project value.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients to communicate cost implications of changes.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, standards, and reporting requirements; prepare regular cost reports for management.
- Maintain thorough documentation for audit readiness and accurate final accounts.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with ACMV or M&E projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, measurement, and valuation practices.
- Proficiency in cost-control software (e.g., CostX) and MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment in Singapore.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore and willingness to commit to a full-time role.
