StaffKing Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our interior fit-out team in the West Region. This role focuses on cost management for high-quality interior spaces from concept to completion, delivering value through precise estimating, vigilant cost control, and effective collaboration with clients and project partners.
As a vital member of our project delivery team, you will coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to prepare accurate budgets, track variations, and manage procurement processes. You will ensure compliance with contractual terms and industry standards while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to keep projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is financially numerate, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment where quality and timelines matter.
What you’ll do: Play a key role in the financial health of interior fit-out projects by supporting cost planning, budgeting, and procurement activities. You will monitor cash flow, prepare valuations, and manage contract variations to protect the client’s and company’s interests. You’ll collaborate with design and engineering teams to drive value engineering and ensure project alignment with specifications and safety requirements. Responsibility
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage measurement, valuation, and variation tracking throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, and suppliers to ensure cost control and timely delivery.
- Prepare tender documents, procurement strategies, and procurement cycles for interior fit-out works.
- Monitor cash flow, costs, and change orders; produce monthly cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, building regulations, and safety requirements.
- Support value engineering and life-cycle costing to optimize project outcomes.
- Assist in final account settlement and project close-out documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, measurement practices, and procurement.
- Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Office.
- Ability to read drawings and BOQ, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eligible to work in Singapore (Singaporean or with valid work eligibility).
