Responsibility

  • Lead cost management and cost control across diverse construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring profitability and value for money.
  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts; perform quantity take-offs and BOQ development.
  • Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and provide cost advice to support procurement and contract strategy.
  • Monitor variations, change orders, and contract claims; maintain accurate cost reporting and financial records.
  • Coordinate with project teams to deliver timely interim and final valuations and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, contracts, and standards; support risk management and value engineering.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers) to drive continuous improvement and project profitability.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as RICS, CPI or PQS (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry; experience in a staff or junior role is welcome.
  • Proficiency with cost estimation software (CostX, WinQS) and advanced Excel; familiarity with BIM is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian regulations, contracts, and procurement processes; excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Fluent in English and Indonesian; ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
