In this role you will have exposure to product development lifecycle from ideation to production, including collaboration with suppliers, quality assurance, and field deployment. You will be able to influence the next generation of energy efficient HVAC solutions that improve indoor air quality and reduce operating costs for customers across diverse markets.
Responsibility
- Lead design, prototyping, and validation of HVAC components and systems, focusing on energy efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Plan and execute experiments, tests, and DOE studies to verify design intent and quantify improvements.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability and quality.
- Develop and manage technical documentation, test reports, and validation protocols.
- Analyze data, generate insights, and present results to cross-functional stakeholders to guide product decisions.
- Support supplier and vendor evaluation, component selection, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Stay current with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC R&D, product development, or related engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation/analytical methods (CFD, thermal analysis).
- Experience with prototyping, testing, DOE, data analysis, and root-cause problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASHRAE, IEC/UL) and sustainability practices is a plus.
- Strong initiative, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
