Join Premier Referees Ltd, a leading provider of professional officiating in the UK. We are seeking qualified referees to officiate football matches across London. This is a contract, part-time opportunity designed for professionals who thrive under pressure and uphold the highest standards of fairness.
You will be responsible for applying the Laws of the Game, managing players and coaches, and communicating decisions clearly and promptly, while maintaining player safety and match flow.
Responsibility
- Officiate assigned football matches in accordance with the Laws of the Game.
- Enforce rules impartially, make timely decisions, and communicate them clearly to players, coaches, and spectators.
- Manage match flow, kickoff and stoppages, and ensure participant safety on and off the field.
- Position strategically to observe play, anticipate incidents, and maintain high game-control standards.
- Collaborate with assistant referees and event staff to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Provide accurate post-match reports and participate in ongoing assessor feedback.
- Maintain high levels of fitness and professional conduct at all times.
Qualification
- Valid refereeing qualification (e.g., FA Referee Grade) or equivalent international certification.
- Proven experience officiating at amateur or semi-professional levels.
- Excellent knowledge of the Laws of the Game and the ability to apply them consistently.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of physical fitness with the stamina to officiate entire matches.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings as required.
- Reliable DBS/Background check or willingness to obtain one.
- Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work well within a team.
